Chad Andrew was born in Orlando Florida in 1985. Mastering the piano & guitar at an early age he learned the basic elements of musical composition. Chad was introduced to the Orlando breaks scene in the late 90s. This is where he discovered his love for electronic music. Following various local Djs in the Miami & Orlando circuit his interest in the music & scene grew. In July 2006 his fascination of the electronic scene seemed to lead him to only one destination…DJ. He established his first residency at Suite B Lounge which proved to be a great success. He took the scene quickly by storm & landed another night at Bliss Ultralounge with Orlando legend Jimmy Joslin.
Chad was soon opening up for some of the most respected house DJs at Orlando’s very own Club Destiny. While at destiny he shared the decks with international DJs including Anthony Papa, Jonathan Peters, Paul Oakenfold, Roger Sanchez, Cedric Gervais, Boris, & Tom Sawyer. In his short time DJ’ing Chad has played at many different clubs in Orlando including Firestone, Tabu, Voyage, Sky60, Vintage, Lux, & Ocean 7. Recently he has been focusing on branching out of Orlando & playing at clubs in Miami & Tampa making a name for himself in the underground scene. His biggest influences include Eric Prydz, Prodigy, Sander Van Doorn, & techno-minimal genius DUBFIRE. Chad currently spins a range of house including progressive, techno, tech-house, & minimal. Chad is on the rise to take it to an international level with his unique blend & style of house music.
With an intrinsic passion for musical creativity from an early age it’s no wonder that Chad Andrew's deep, subliminal grooves and selection skills caught the attention of this scenes key influencers so quickly. In summer of 2012 Chad made a bold move to the island of Ibiza in order to meet, work with, and learn from some of the best in the industry. While there he quickly established himself with some of the island’s finest, playing events like tINI’s weekly beach party, "tINI & The Gang." Soaking up all the inspiration he could find on the island & weaving it into his productions he managed to catch the attention of Dissonant label owner Marc Antona. Not too long after returning to Florida he released his "Cut Up" EP with Dissonant which ended up holding the #1 spot for the label. After a season of stand out sets on the White Isle, there’s a definite sense that Chad Andrew is quickly coming into his own. With an unwavering commitment to studio time, and residencies planned for Ibiza 2014, expect a whole lot more from the Florida based artist in the New Year.
