Zouk

Very much the jewel in Asia's clubbing crown, Zouk is like London's Ministry Of Sound morphed with Pacha Ibiza, dropped in the heart of Singapore.
With a ribcage-rattling Gary Stewart soundsystem, mosaic features on the walls, and a huge hanging mobile depicting the club's mantra — One World, One Music, One Tribe, One Dance — not to mention a heritage that goes back over 20 years, Zouk certainly deserve their position in the Top Five clubs in the world.
But as much as the venue is beautiful and the sound is immense, the real star in the Zouk firmament is the crowd. As enthusiastic and music-loving as we have ever seen, the Zouk faithful pack out the venue each week, cheering and screaming until lights up — usually several hours after the specified closing time!
In 2013 the venue expanded their associated festival ZoukOut, and hosted DJs as diverse as Hardwell, Avicii, Sven Väth and Marco Carola, and Lincoln — the club's smiling owner, who still returns most nights — has his sights set on extending the Zouk brand into South Korea. Web: Zoukclub.com
