Amsterdam Dance Event completes festival line-up

With less than three weeks to go, the preparations are in full swing for the eighteenth edition of theAmsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the world’s biggest club festival, and leading conference for electronic music. Today ADE’s initiator Buma has finalized the already impressive festival line-up with the addition of new names. The five-day ADE Festival, which takes place from 16 to 20 October, includes a record number of national and international artists performing, no less than 2000 artists are taking part in 300 events in 80 locations throughout the city of Amsterdam.

The biggest club festival in the world
In the past three years the ADE Festival has almost doubled in size. This year’s program covers a record number of 80 locations across the city. From traditional venues like Melkweg, Paradiso, Trouw, Escape and Studio 80, to major locations such as the Concertgebouw, the Westergasfabriek, the Convention Factory, Heineken Music Hall, Ziggo Dome and the Amsterdam RAI, the ADE Festival is truly the biggest club festival in world.

From emerging talent to the absolute world top
An expected 300,000 dance music lovers from around the world will get the chance to spoil themselves with an overwhelming array of national and international artists. For five days, they can choose from over 300 different events where almost every music genre is represented.

In addition to the extensive festival (ADE Festival) ADE Playground offers music enthusiasts a huge daytime program which includes exhibitions, in store promotions, pop-up stores and film screenings taking place throughout the city. The business part (ADE Conference) is recognized as the most important of its kind and presents a broad range of conferences and networking opportunities that focus on music and technology, VJs & visuals, sustainability, harder dance styles, new talent and the education of students.
